Movember 2011

This year I decided I would take part in Movember. To do this I had to shave my beard off. Not a problem you say! However I have spent 16 years building that bad boy up and a number of family members were attached to it.

For many of my colleagues this was a first and possibly only time for them to see my naked face. I don’t do this often. Like Samson my strength is in my beard. My war gaming, Sysadmin and general Irishness would be lost with my beard shaved.

I then spent the month of November nursing and growing a Mo and raised a further £193 for Movember (Movember Sponsorship)

I tried to take a picture once a day to show progress and have combined the results into a montage (because every good Mo needs a Montage)

And finally and excellent portrait of the finished article before my beard is grown back and yes it will be grown back because “She who must be obeyed immediately and without question” has deemed it so
