Jail Guitar Doors project
One of the items I attended when I was at Greenbelt 2011 was the ‘The Rich Get Richer and The Poor Get Prison‘ . Leon Walker and Billy Bragg spoke about the Jail Guitar Doors project and Leon sang several songs, including this one. The audience suggested that a bucket be put around to raise some funds for Jail Guitar Doors and £1275 was donated for more guitars.
This is about giving people self-worth and rehabilitating them through allowing them to have value in society.
